Changement d’adresses IP (Maunoury)

Afin de mieux gérer l'accès au réseau pour les habitants du bâtiment Maunoury, et du fait de nombreuses contraintes, la DSI a décidé de transformer ce réseau en réseau visiteur et de changer la numérotation des IP de ces chambres. Ce changement a été réalisé le 2 février, c'est à dire ce jeudi.

La nouvelle affectation est donc la suivante :

• Rdc  : 129.104.232.BBB
• 1er  : 129.104.233.BBB
• 2ème : 129.104.234.BBB
• 3ème : 129.104.235.BBB

où BBB reste 120 + les 2 derniers chiffres de la prise réseau.

• La passerelle devient : 129.104.235.254
• Le masque de sous réseau : 255.255.252.0
• Ne modifiez pas pour l'instant les IPs des serveurs DNS. Si cela cessait de marcher, utilisez les adresses suivantes (serveurs DNS de la DSI au lieu des serveurs du BR)
  • DNS principal  : 129.104.30.41
  • DNS secondaire : 129.104.32.41
• Le serveur de courrier sortant (SMTP) devient mx.polytechnique.fr

Vous pouvez accéder

Vous pouvez accéder aux services suivants :

• Le proxy kuzh pour l’accès internet (kuzh.polytechnique.fr:8080) - donc rien à changer par rapport à la configuration actuelle
• La machine sil.polytechnique.fr (pour les élèves de l'Ecole possédant les identifiants correspondants)
• ssh et ftp vers des machines extérieures
• pop3s et imaps (réception des emails) vers des machines extérieures (poly.polytechnique.fr reste accessible)
• Le serveur de courrier sortant (SMTP) devient mx.polytechnique.fr
• Les machines de salle info
• Les newsgroups de frankiz
• L'antivirus de la DSI sur http://norokar.polytechnique.fr/

Vous n'avez plus accès

Les services suivants sont maintenant inaccessibles parce que vous n'êtes plus sur le réseau élèves :

• Aux machines des élèves
• Aux miroirs Linux hébergés par le BR
• Aux mises à jour de l'anti-virus du BR
• Au service xNet (qRezix)

Network Configuration Modification (Maunoury)

In order to better handle the network access for the students living in Maunoury, and because of a number of technical constraints, the DSI has decided to move the three upper floors of this building to a visitor subnetwork and to change the network addressing of these rooms. The change has taken place this Thursday, February the 2nd.

The new addressing is the following :

• 1st floor  : 129.104.232.BBB
• 2nd  : 129.104.233.BBB
• 3rd : 129.104.234.BBB
• 4th : 129.104.235.BBB

where BBB is still 120 + the last 2 digits of your network plug.

• New Gateway : 129.104.235.254
• New subnet mask : 255.255.252.0
• Do not yet change the DNS servers' addresses. If you again encounter problems with your network access, change them from the BR's servers to the DSI's servers :
  • Primary DNS  : 129.104.30.41
  • Secondary DNS : 129.104.32.41
• The outgoing (SMTP) mail server is now mx.polytechnique.fr

You have access to

You now have access to the following services :

• The http proxy for internet access (kuzh.polytechnique.fr:8080) - nothing to change from your current configuration
• sil.polytechnique.fr for ssh access (for School students who have a login)
• external ssh & ftp servers
• external pop3s & imaps (email reception) servers (poly.polytechnique.fr is still accessible)
• The outgoing (SMTP) mail server is now mx.polytechnique.fr
• the computer labs
• newsgroups on frankiz
• DSI's antivirus, on http://norokar.polytechnique.fr/

You no longer have access to

The following services are no longer reachable since you no longer are on the student subnet :

• The student subnet, in particular the other students' machines
• The Linux mirrors housed by the BR
• The BR's antivirus' updates
• The xNet network (qRezix)
